Cuiusmodi calami genere indocti bubulci, fistulâ ex harundinibus compactâ ludere nescientes, utebantur: ῥαπαταῦλαι hinc Graecis dicti. Hesych. ῥαπατην` καλάμην, καὶ τοὺς εν αὐτῇ αὐλοῦντας ῥαπαταύλας.
